We want to be straight with you about how some of the links on Tech2Have work. In the interest of full transparency — and in line with Australian Consumer Law — this page explains what affiliate links are, where you’ll find them, and our promise that they never change what you pay or what we honestly recommend.
What is an affiliate link?
A special link to a product on another retailer’s site. If you click it and buy, we may earn a small referral commission from that retailer — a thank-you for sending the customer their way.
It never costs you more
You pay exactly the same price whether you use our link or go to the retailer directly. The commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, never as an extra charge to you.
Recommendations stay honest
We choose what to feature on its merits — specs, value and real-world fit. A commission never buys a better review, a higher ranking, or a place on a buying guide.
Where you’ll see affiliate links
Affiliate links may appear in our blog articles, buying guides and product round-ups, and in recommendation cards or banners across the site — especially where we point you to an item we don’t stock ourselves but think is worth a look. Where a link is an affiliate link, you can assume it may earn us a commission.
To make this easy to spot, articles that contain affiliate links carry a short note at the bottom linking back to this page.
How we choose what to recommend
- Merit first. We feature products we’d genuinely suggest to a friend — based on specifications, reliability, value and how well they fit the job.
- Independence. Editorial content and product recommendations are decided separately from any commercial arrangement.
- Clarity. When something is sponsored or part of a paid arrangement (rather than a plain affiliate link), we say so explicitly.
Programs we work with
We participate in, or may join, retailer and brand affiliate programs (for example Australian retailers and distributor storefronts, and major marketplaces). Each operates under its own terms; this disclosure covers all of them. Buying through Tech2Have itself is, of course, a direct purchase — not an affiliate link.
Amazon Associates: Tech2Have is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon (amazon.com.au). As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. “Buy from Amazon” buttons on our product pages and blog articles are affiliate links under this program.
