Soldering tips wear out and probes get lost — keep spares on hand. This category covers HS-01, HS-02 and DWS-200 tip sets and station spares, the standard P6100 100MHz oscilloscope probe, and the P4100 100:1 high-voltage probe rated for mains and switch-mode supply work.

Match the right probe

• General scope work: P6100 (1x/10x).
• Mains-side and HV measurement: P4100 (100:1) — never probe mains with a standard 10x probe.
• Soldering tips: check your iron series (HS-01 and HS-02 tips differ).
